Each day includes outdoor and indoor activities, with participation varying and developing by ages and stages. Warning: we play in the mud; bring a change of clothes and both boots and sandals! Water tray play, sprinkler, squirt bottles, fountain; sand boat digging, pouring, and castle making; pretend kitchen play; gardening and insect hunts; walks to the park and wagon rides; plasma car hill riding; berry picking, lunch table helpers; dress up and fort making; folding and clean-up. Ephemeral arts and crafts include beeswax modeling, sidewalk chalk, play dough, and painting.

All children are served vegetarian lunch and snacks, prepared here. We ask that families do not send food with their children unless there are extreme dietary or allergy concerns. Examples of lunches: vegetable soup, sushi rolls, lettuce wraps, rice & seed balls. Afternoon snacks are a favorite way to end the day together! Children learn to look forward to "watermelon day," "grapes day," etc. Whenever possible, ingredients are organic and/or grown locally. Fresh produce is preferred over frozen or canned. Beverages are limited to MultiPure filtered water and herbal tea. Due to emerging knowledge regarding common food allergies we minimize gluten, eggs, nuts, and dairy in our menu with the exception of organic butter.

Parents who attend with their children will enjoy the "co-op" feel to each day and a chance to "just be present" with their children, without the multi-tasking of typical daily life!
